Saskatchewan invited 559 Occupation In-Demand and Express Entry Candidates in its Latest SINP Draw

Saskatchewan province conducted its Latest SINP Draw on October 8, 2019 and issued 559 invitations to skilled workers under Occupation In-Demand and Express Entry subcategory.  This is the second draw of October month conducted by SINP. In the previous draw held October 2, 2019, a total of 610 invitations issued to skilled workers with minimum CRS of 68 points.

In the Latest draw of SINP, out of 559 invitations, 231 went to express entry candidates and remaining 328 invitations were issued to Occupation In-Demand subcategory and minimum CRS was 69 points under both the subcategories.

Saskatchewan Government updated its Occupation List previous month and added over 200 occupations in it. In order to be eligible to apply for Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP), candidates must have their occupation available on the list and need to score 60 points out of 100 on the points system. To apply for SINP, you don’t require any job offer and minimum CLB 4 is required. The province usually accepts applications in 6-8 months and has the highest conversation rate compared to other provinces of Canada.

a) Occupation In-Demand Subcategory

This stream belongs to the skilled workers having skills and experience related to an occupation listed in High demand occupation list of Saskatchewan. You can apply for Canada PR to IRCC after getting a provincial nomination from the province.

b) Express Entry Subcategory

This stream is for people who’ve already registered in the Federal express entry system and their application is available in the express entry pool of candidates. If you get a positive result under this stream, you get an additional 600 points are awarded in the CRS score.
