With the Expression of Interest (EOI) system, the SINP issues invitations to immigration candidates that can contribute to the province to apply for a provincial nomination from a permanent residence.

To represent the interest to settle in Saskatchewan, a candidate has to create EOI profile and show interest by providing the details of work experience, education, language ability, age, and connections to the province. Based upon these factors, the SINP provides a score to a candidate out of 100 on the Point Assessment Grid. And, the highest-scoring candidates are then issued with invitation to apply for a provincial nomination for Canada Permanent Residence. The minimum score required in the February 13 draws was 70 for both sub-categories.
