Latest Saskatchewan EOI Draw , February 27, 2020

Saskatchewan Government conducted a Latest Expression of Draw under the Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP) on February 27, 2020, and issued a total of 576 invitations to apply (ITA) to the candidates under the Express Entry and Occupations In-Demand sub-categories. To be selected for SINP, immigration candidates need to submit expression of Interest (EOI) profile with the SINP.

SINP invites immigration candidates through Expression of Interest System that are prospective enough to be successful in the province to apply for a provincial nomination for permanent residence. Interesting candidates need to create expression of interest profile and show their interest to settle permanently in Saskatchewan by providing their work experience, education, language ability, age, and connections to the province. In this Latest Draw, the minimum score under both sub-categories was 69. There is no requirement for an employment offer to receive an invitation from the province.  Though, having one year of work experience in an occupation related to the field of study is a must.

In this latest Draw; Saskatchewan issued 301 invitations out of 576 invitations to candidates with profiles in the Federal Express Entry Pool. Saskatchewan’s Express Entry-sub category is connected with the Federal Express Entry System that manages the pool of candidates for the three major main economic-class Immigration categories – Federal Skilled Worker Class, Federal Skilled Trades Class, and Canada Experience Class. If Express Entry pool candidates have filled expression of Interest for Saskatchewan and have scored 69 points on the Points System might have been selected in this latest draw. Express Entry candidates who receive a provincial nomination from the Saskatchewan province are awarded an additional 600 points towards their Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score and increases chances of receiving invitation to apply for Canada Permanent Residence.

On the other hand, Saskatchewan’s Occupations In-Demand sub-category is open to immigration applicants without any Federal Express Entry Profile. Over 275 Occupations In-Demand applicants received invitation to apply for a provincial nomination with a minimum score of 69.
