Latest Manitoba Draw invites a total of 170 candidates to apply for Provincial Nomination

In the recent Manitoba Draw held on May 9, a total of 170 new invitations to apply have been issued to apply for Canadian permanent residence. Out of 170 invitations, 15 were issued to the Manitoba Immigration candidates, who have a valid express entry profile along with a job seeker verification code.

The Canada Express Entry System looks after the pool of the candidates for three main economic immigration categories- the Federal Skilled worker Class, Federal Skilled Trades Class, and Canadian Experience Class.

Candidates will be endowed with an additional 600 Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) points if their nomination gets approved. Having additional points in the overall score, help the candidates to strengthen their position to receive a Federal Invitation to Apply (ITA) for Canada permanent residence in an upcoming Immigration, Refugee and Citizenship Canada (IRCC).

Greater division of invitations was given to Skilled Worker in Manitoba Stream candidates with a total of 101 invitations. The candidate with the lowest score of 569 invited under Manitoba’s unique points grid.  Around 52 invitations were issued to Skilled Workers Overseas with a lowest ranking score of 616 and 17 went to International Education Stream candidates.

The main target of International Education Stream is on International Graduates of Manitoba post-secondary institutions who meet the procedure of one of three pathways. In order to apply for one of the International Education pathways, the MPNP boost graduates to get in for an information session with the program before lodging an Expression of Interest (EOI). On the other hand, the skilled worker overseas candidates were invited by the MPNP under the Strategic Recruitment Initiative. There is coordination between the MPNP and employers in Manitoba with to fill up positions present in the province, in the overseas recruitment initiatives.

The candidates who want to apply Manitoba Immigration through the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program, International foreigners need to submit an Expression of Interest to the program.  In a bid to submit an EOI, candidates have to give answers to a number of queries related to their previous education, work experience, Language skills and connections to the Manitoba, among others.

The MPNP ranks a candidate on the basis of information provided and afterward, ranks the eligible candidates. The candidates who score high points and have the determination to serve the province on the long-term are invited to lodge an application for a provincial nomination during periodic provincial draws.
