Canada Government held Express Entry Draw on February 19, 2020, and issued 4,500 invitations to express entry candidates for Canada permanent residence. This is the Largest Draw held by Canada Government to invite express entry candidates. In this Latest Draw, the minimum CRS score achieved by a candidate was 470, a slight decrease of 2 points from the previous draw that held on February 5, 2020.
Canada Express Entry System is the major source to attract International skilled candidates who can contribute to Canada’s economy and whose skills are in demand in this country. Canada Express Entry System manages the main economic immigration categories – the Federal Skilled Worker Class, Federal Skilled Trades Class, and Canada Experience Class. Eligible candidates' applications are entered into the Express Entry Pool and given with a CRS score based on factors such as age, education, skilled work experience, and English/French language proficiency.

Express Entry candidates with high scores are issued with invitation to apply for Canada permanent residence through regular draws from the pool. Invitations rounds take place every two weeks and consider candidates from all the three major economic express entry categories. The Canadian Government has six months of processing time for permanent residence applications submitted through the Express Entry system.
Canada Government has a friendly approach towards Immigration candidates; therefore, it has provided many ways to increase the CRS score, a provincial nomination is one among them. With a provincial nomination, there is an addition of 600 CRS points towards the overall score raising the chances of getting invitations to apply for Canada Permanent Residence.
Within two months of this year, the Canada Government has invited migrants for permanent residency through Canada’s Express Entry-aligned provincial nomination streams including Immigration streams of Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Ontario, Prince Edward Island and British Columbia.
