Express Entry Finishes High In October And Almost Equals 2017 Invitation Record

October marks the doubling of invitations to apply for permanent residency figures when compared to October 2017. The ITAs issues by IRCC under the Express Entry program are 74200 which just pules it behind the record to 11823.  Over the course of last three months more than twice the number of ITAs i.e. 5558 were issued in October 2017.

The Express Entry system manages the candidates under the three economic systems i.e. the Federal Skilled Worker Class, Canadian Experience Class and Federal Skilled Trades Class. Candidates who are eligible are allocated points under the Comprehensive  Ranking System (CRS) that determines the candidate’s position in the pool of Express Entry.

IRCC has been surpassing the last year’s total as it has continued to have draws till the end of the year and maintaining the draw sizes to 3900 or more ITA.

A target of 81,400 new permanent residents has been set for Federal High Skilled immigration by IRCC for the year of 2019. The set target is expected to reach 85,200 by 2020 and 88,800 by 2021.

Canadian program economic immigration is responsible for major amount of intake to Canada by the year of 2021 as per the Canada’s immigration updated targets. All the economic immigrations account for almost 60 percent of all the admissions to Canada under which the Canadian PNP Program and Federal High Skilled alone will account to 44 percent of total intakes for the coming 3 years.

Ontario PNP Back Candidates of Express Entry

There are nine provinces that take part in the Provincial Nominee Program of Canada and every province has atleast one stream that is linked to Express Entry system.

Canadian PNP stream allows the provinces or territories to nominate a set number of candidates for the permanent residency each year.

Candidates who are under the Express Entry and get an offer under from the provinces receive an additional 600 points in their CRS score which makes it easy for the candidates to get their Canadian Permanent Residency visa.

The province of Ontario has three streams that are in synchronization with Express Entry and are responsible for 95% of the nominations issued by OINP in the year of 2018 i.e. 6411 out of 6600.

All the three streams i.e. Human Capital Priorities Stream, Skilled Trades Stream and French Speaking Skilled Worker Stream allow Ontario to search the candidates in the Express Entry pool who meet the eligibility criteria and can integrate in the labour market of the province.

Though the province of Ontario has reached 6600 nomination allocation it would still continue to accept the applications for the nominations of the province and also the candidates who have already submitted their profiles, under the Ontario PNP 2019 nomination allocation wherein the Master’s Graduate Stream is kept as exception.
