Alberta invited Express Entry Candiadtes with CRS 300

Alberta issued a total of 262 Notifications of Interest (NOIs) to Express Entry candidates through  its Alberta Immigrant Nomine program (AINP) with a score as low as 300 in its Latest draw.  The province has provided the complete details of the latest draw of its Express Entry-aligned provincial nomination stream.

On the behalf of Alberta Express Entry Stream, the provincial government of Alberta nominates candidates who are eligible and have their profile submitted in the Federal Express Entry system, which operates the pool of candidates for three major economic Immigration programs of Canada- the Federal Skilled Worker Class, Federal Skilled Trades Class and Canadian Experience Class.

Express Entry candidates who qualify the eligibility criteria and receive a provincial nomination from Alberta are awarded additional 600 points in their overall CRS score increasing or in fact, assuring their chances of getting an invitation to apply (ITA) to apply for Canada permanent residence through regular draws from the Express Entry pool.

The most attractive and at the same time benefitting reason to apply in one of the Alberta Express Entry streams is that this province gives an opportunity to the Express Entry candidates even with low scores to attain Canada permanent residence.

In comparison to Alberta’s Invitation round held on June 21, 2019, where cut-off went to 300, the cut-off score of all the draws happened this year through the Express Entry system is extremely high.  By far the lowest score came out through the Express Entry System was 332 in Federal Skilled Trade only which took place on May 15 whereas the lowest score in an all-program was 438.

To be eligible to apply for the Alberta Express Entry stream through other eligibility criteria demands a requirement that the applicant needs to be working in an occupation that supports “Alberta’s economic development and diversification priorities”. Though, the Alberta Government has not mentioned eligible occupations.

The AINP prioritizes candidates with:

a) A job offer or work experience in Alberta

b) Holds a degree from a Canadian post-secondary institution and a valid job-offer; or,

c) A parent, child or sibling living in Alberta.

With the June 21 draw, the number of issuing provincial nomination to Express Entry candidates to apply for permanent residency through the Alberta Express Entry stream has reached 3,816.  If you want to migrate to Alberta and looking for assistance, you can directly speak to our Immigration experts via official helpline number +91-7042184185 or drop down your queries to info@makevisas.com.
