ALBERTA CANADA PNP DRAW 2021

‘There is always a way to fix something, even though it looks terribly broken at first’ Canada is definitely going on with this philosophy as it is trying to repair its economy in an expeditious manner. Another good news came up on 28th January 2021, when Alberta’s Provincial Nominee Program issued its second draw of the year that too in the same month with a score less than the previous draw on January 19, 2021. The minimum CRS of Alberta Canada on 2nd February came out to be 360 which was earlier 406 in January, 2021. 100 express entry candidates were invited through this Alberta Immigration  Nomination Program (AINP). The first and foremost step to get an invite and later get a nomination from Alberta province is to enter into the express entry system.  After that, the eligible candidates are ranked by scores given to them based on the CRS score. Points are awarded to a person on the basis of their potential and capability to contribute to the labour markets of Canada. Following are the factors that affects the scores of a candidate,

  1. Age
  2. Education
  3. Work experience
  4. Language proficiency in English or French
Since the start of 2021, IRCC has been holding draws within a time period of 2 weeks and the candidates who have the highest scores receive an ITA (Invitation To Apply) for Canadian permanent residency. Also, if a candidate receives a provincial nomination from Alberta, he or she will directly get 600 points in addition to their existing score and that will be counted under the express entry nomination program. One of the biggest requirements is to have work experience in an occupation that supports the province’s economic development and diversification priorities.  There are various jobs which Alberta do not qualify under this program and hence, the candidates with work experience in the following fields will not be invited under the canadian express entry system. counted under the express entry nomination program. One of the biggest requirements is to have work experience in an occupation that supports the province’s economic development and diversification priorities.
