Express Entry- best pathway to Canada Immigration for Indians

With the recent change in US policies and continuous inflexibility in its Immigration rules, it has become difficult for Indian skilled workers to settle in America and live the luxurious American lifestyle. Canada, the maple syrup land has always welcomed immigrants with open arms and has been welcoming people for a decade on a higher proportion.  Canada’s Express entry program and PNP have played a major role in attracting overseas nationals across the world.

Incepted in the year 2015, express entry program is considered as the pivotal and fastest visa program helping a candidate to move to Canada in the span of 6-8 months.  It is a point-based system which allows skilled workers to settle in the maple syrup land by granting them permanent residency. Express Entry is a gamut program consisting of all the three major economic immigration categories of Canada- Federal Skilled Workers, Canada Experience Class, and Federal Skilled Trades Class.

Under this program, candidate’s eligibility is evaluated on the account of factors, such as age, work experience, language proficiency, education, arranged employment, etc which is known as the Comprehensive Ranking system. Under the Express Entry pool, candidates’ profiles are ranked against each other and the one with highest CRS score gets an invitation to apply (ITA). Canada Express Entry system is the hot-selling visa program among Indians who are looking for better career opportunities and a better living style in Canada.

As per the information based on records, in the year 2017, 36,310 invitations were sent to Indians out of the 86,022 invitations under the Express Entry system. If reports are to be believed it would not be an element of astonishment to know that around 40% of people were Indians out of 65,401 permanent residents. In the recent draws, one can completely see the hold of Indians in immigration.

The crucial reason out of the pond of many, to consider express entry program for settlement in Canada is that it doesn’t ask for a job offer from a candidate prior to applying. Express Entry system is an online system where applicants are given CRS scores depending on the information provided by them at the time of profile creation.  Your file is placed under the pool once it is created and will be ranked among other profiles. Applicants with high scores are offered with an invitation to apply (ITA).

After analyzing the present scenario, a few immigration experts have predicted the CRS score in the upcoming draws to be around 450. And they are pretty sure that this cut-off will not go beyond this point, even though it came out at 470 points the last time around.  Candidates can look for ways to increase their scores by gaining points in parameters, such as language proficiency, work experience, and education. Express Entry program is structured in a manner that an applicant’s success rate can be easily predicted.

Factors like education in Canada, language skills, a job offer from a Canadian employer or a nomination from a Canadian province can help an applicant in gaining more points and eventually, escalating their chances of receiving an invitation.  Candidates automatically get 200 points if they have a job offer before moving to Canada and even a bonus of 30 points if they have command in the French language. Moreover, candidates with a provincial nomination certificate are allocated with 600 points along with an invitation to apply (ITA).
