As per the latest Australia Immigration changes that took place in April and going to come in effect from this year has opened numerous entitlements to the skilled workers. Be it the addition of bonus points in the points score or new pathways to attain permanent residency. One such announcement made by Australian government including all the rules and changes is the introduction of three new visa categories and changes in the point system which is going to effect from 16th November 2019.
The inception of three new visa categories has come as a ray of hope for candidates who have been applying for the PR process. Among the three visa categories, one is permanent residency visa and the rest two is Regional visas.
It is going to come in effect from November 16, 2019. This will be a point based visa nominated by a state or territory government agency. This visa can also be sponsored by a family member living in the designated regional area.
This visa belongs to the regional Australian employers for the purpose of hiring foreign skilled workers. It comes under the category of the Labour and Employer-Sponsored Agreement.
It is a permanent residency visa and going to come in effect from November 16, 2022. This visa offers permanent residency to skilled workers who are comfortable and ready in settling in the Regional part of Australia. Above two (subclass 491 and subclass 494) are temporary visa categories and will come in effect from this year only.
Subclass 191 visa will be applicable for skilled workers, who have already resided and worked in Australia for the span of three years and above W.e.f. 16th November 2022. In the latest interview. Mr. David Coleman, the Minister for Immigration, Citizenship and Multicultural Affairs, mentioned an instructive statement about the New Regional Visas Migration Amendment Regulations 2019. It mentions all the essential requirements for the PR Visa – Health, character, Security, etc.
Subclass 191 visa is applicable only for those applicants who already hold the new visas (subclass 494 visa and subclass 491 visas) for three years as on 16th November 2022. And, they must have made good income being in Regional Australia under the above subclasses.
