Alberta AINP issued 180 NOIs to Alberta Express Entry System Candidates

The Alberta province through its Albert Immigrant Nominee Program AINP issued a total of 180 Notifications of Interest (NOIs) to the Express Entry candidates with the score as low as 425. The information about the latest draw held on July 5 under the Express Entry-linked provincial nomination stream has been released by the province.

The AINP is an official program of the Alberta province seeks the Federal Express Entry Pool for the applicants fulfilling the eligibility criteria of the stream. Though there is no requirement of a job offer under the Alberta Express Entry system, you have to show strong ties of Alberta and must be working in an occupation which is in priority and supports the economic status of the province. Also, Alberta doesn’t issue eligible occupations list, like other provinces such as Saskatchewan.

The AINP targets candidates with:

a) Work experience or a job offer in Alberta b) A valid degree from a Canadian post-secondary institution and an employment offer c) Any sibling, parent, or child living in the province.

Till so far in the year 2019, the province has held 17 draws under the Alberta Express Entry System lead to the issuing of a total of 3,996 NOIs. CRS 425 has been the highest score in the Alberta Express Entry Stream draws so far. Also, the province has even nominated Express Entry candidates with CRS 300 four times through the Alberta Express Entry stream in 2019. Of the draws, three were with a minimum CRS score 301 and the fourth one with CRS 302.

Express Entry Stream

The nation’s Federal Express Entry System monitors the pool of candidates for three major economic immigration programs - the Federal Skilled Worker Class, Federal Skilled Worker Class and Canadian Experience Class. If you are eligible, your application gets entered into the Express Entry pool and score is given on factors such as age, education, skilled work experience and proficiency in English or French. Highest-ranking candidates are issued with invitation to apply (ITAs) through continuous draws from the pool.
