South Australia released new State Occupation List on December 3, 2019

Immigration South Australia released a new State Nominated Occupation List which is going to be applicable from December 3, 2019. South Australian state has two occupation lists, one is State Nominated Occupation List and the second one is the Supplementary Skilled Occupation list. This new state nominated occupation list consists of 275 occupations presently and 223 occupations are available in Supplementary Skilled Occupation List. This new state occupation list belongs to those applicants who are looking for a state nomination in South Australia.

The new Skilled Occupation List is available for both the visa subclasses – Skilled Nominated Visa Subclass 190 and New Skilled Work Regional Visa subclass 491. The subclass 190 visa is a permanent visa that allows an applicant to live, work and study in Australia and the subclass 491 visa is a temporary visa that is valid for five years.

What is New Skilled Work Regional Visa Subclass 491?

The new subclass 491 visa is introduced by the DHA (Department of Home Affairs), Australia on November 16, 2019, has been replaced by the Skilled Regional Provisional visa subclass 489. This new subclass 491 visa allows you to live and work for five years and after staying in Regional Australia for three years on this subclass 491 visa, you can apply for permanent residency.
