Australian employers can sponsor overseas nationals under the Subclass 482 visa which is a Temporary Skill Shortage visa. Though skilled workers can’t directly apply, the employers first need approval by the Designated area’s representative (DAR). Once the approval is given by DAR, only then the employers are eligible to submit a DAMA labor agreement request with the Department of Home Affairs.
