Quebec Immigrant Investor Program Reopening

Quebec Investor Program is bound to reopen on 10^th September 2018 with an intake capacity of 1900 candidates. They can gain the Permanent Residency (PR) with an investment of CAD 1.2 million.

This happens to be the only provincial program which helps to gain the Canadian Permanent Residency (PR) through investment.  In rest all the provinces a candidate or entrepreneurs needs to actively run the business as well.

This results in filling up of vacancies really very fast. It is due to be opened until 15^th March 2019.

Criteria Modification

There are some modifications that were being in the Quebec Immigration Investor Program (QIIP). Following are those modifications:-

1. Candidates need to show net assets and investments, higher as compared to the previous year, i.e. CAD 2 million and CAD 1.2 million respectively.
2. The time period of investment should be 5 years and the agreement of investment must be made through financial intermediary who is authorized to participate in QIIP.
3. The candidates who are willing to apply are 18 years of age and must have a requisite management experience.
4. Candidates must score well enough under Quebec points system.

Quebec’s business programs i.e. Quebec Entrepreneur Program and Quebec Self Employed Worker Program opened on 15^th August for new application entries.
