On September 4, 2019, the New Zealand Government conducted the latest Expression of Draw under Skilled Migrant Category inviting a total of 642 applicants to step further towards first-round verification to evaluate whether an invitation to apply (ITA) will be issued or not to the candidate to apply for New Zealand permanent residency visa. This draw picked the profiles with points 160 and above. Around 1,446 candidates have to go through the verification process and now, 613 EOIs are in the pool following selection.

It is observed that 642 EOIs are issued in this latest draw where around 592 EOIs were given to the applicants with a job-offer category where 544 applicants are onshore and the remaining 48 are from offshore. Only 1 candidate received an invitation to apply without a job offer and 49 EOIs were given to offshore applicants without a job offer. Indians are on the highest place to receive an invitation from past New Zealand Skill Select Draws followed by countries like China and South Africa. The next EOI draw is expected to be released on September 27, 2019.
