The New Zealand Government conducted the first Expression of Interest Draw of October month under the Skilled Migrant Category on October 2, 2019, and invited 848 Immigration applicants to go through preliminary verification to evaluate their chances for getting invitation to apply for residency. The current New Zealand EOI draw invited applicants with 160 points and above. A total of 1,923 applicants will go through preliminary verification, leaving 646 EOIs in the pool after selection.

A total of 848 EOIs are issued to applicants in this draw, where 781 EOIs issued to the candidates with a job-offer and out of which, 730 were onshore candidates and the remaining 66 were offshore. Only 1 Offshore applicant received invitation to apply without a job offer and 66 EOIs issued to offshore applicants without a job offer.
