Manitoba has opened a new immigration pathway as Expression of Interest for eligible international students who are from post secondary institutions in Manitoba.
Candidates, who want to be considered under the Career Employment Pathway, ought to have been graduated from a program of full time in nature for a minimum of one year or two semesters in length. Moreover candidates can submit their Expression of Interest only at the time when they are present in the province.
✍ Candidates must have completed a bringing program and must have passed the initial stage of certification which is determined by the regulatory body.
✍ Candidates need to possess a full time job offer with the current employer; only condition is the employer should be eligible to process the application, for the occupation that is listed in in-demand occupation list of Manitoba.
Candidates who are interested in the program can apply as soon as they graduate and they ought to be living in the province of Manitoba.
In order to judge the eligibility for the candidates, they need to answer the series of questions that relates to their education, work experience till the filing of application, language proficiency, adaptability, age etc. After submitting the information, there is a score that a candidate gets and after getting the score they are ranked amongst the pool of candidates for pathway.
High scoring candidates are issued the Letter of Advice which helps them to apply for nomination with Manitoba’s PNP program. Manitoba’s PNP may impose the program or occupation specific limits when the Letter of Advice is issued for the new stream of Career Employment Pathway.
The new pathway opened on 30th of November and it has brought many immigration options for international students in the province of Manitoba. The province has compiled it to just 3 options for International Education Stream i.e. Graduate Internship Pathway, Student Entrepreneur Pathway and Career Employment Pathway. The former two i.e. Graduate Internship Pathway and Student Entrepreneur Pathway were launched on 1st November 2018.
International Education Stream was announced in November 2017 as a part of general overhaul of Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP). Since that time, the PNP Program of Manitoba had started attracting and retaining international graduates from Manitoba’s post secondary institutions plus training support innovation acted as the vital element of the Manitoba’s PNP renewal program.
