The most popular province of Canada, Manitoba has organized a draw for December month and has invited a total of 530 candidates to apply to Manitoba PNP for provincial nomination. This figure includes 317 invitations that are issued under the Skilled Workers Overseas category and 213 invitations towards Skilled Workers in Manitoba category.
The above mentioned two categories comes under Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP) which facilitates the province to choose the candidates for Canada Permanent Residence and fill the labor shortages in the labor market arising every year.
Also, Manitoba now has Express Entry-linked immigration pathway permitting to sponsor eligible Express Entry candidates for Permanent Residence. Express Entry candidates applied for obtaining provincial nomination and got provincial nomination from Manitoba province are given an advantage of 600 points toward their Express Entry ranking score which opens doors to get Canada Permanent Residence more quickly.
Another significant point to be noted, express Entry must have minimum six months work experience in any of the Canada in-demand Occupation. Candidates must also have submitted an Expression of Interest (EOI) profile with Manitoba PNP. EOI profile must enclose your work experience, education, language proficiency, and other factors along with eligible score.
The candidates who got higher ranks in the regular draws are then invited to apply for Manitoba PNP and live in the province for permanent.
The recent draw held on 5th December has recorded maximum number of invitations issued to candidates with 596 score whereas candidates invited directly by the MPNP through a strategic recruitment initiative was 711. For skilled Workers in Manitoba Stream the score was 375 to get invitation for Canada PR.
