The year is going to end and Manitoba is in full festive mood to shower presents to new immigrants. ON Thursday, Manitoba issued 492 invitations to apply through its Expression of Interest system for the following categories- Skilled Workers in Manitoba, Skilled Workers Overseas and International Education streams. All the three streams operate under Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP) and nominate the candidates for Canada Permanent Residency to boost the economy of the province.
A whole of 351 Letters of Advice to Apply (LAAs) has been granted to candidates applying to Skilled Workers Overseas Stream and 106 LAAs allocated to candidates under Skilled Workers in Manitoba category. While International Education stream get 35 LAAs in total.
Manitoba also raised 44 LAAs for Skilled Workers Overseas belonging to Strategic Recruitment Initiative with minimum 718 score.
The CRS score for Skilled Workers Overseas remained at 576 and for Skilled Workers in Manitoba the score determined at 502. The Manitoba draw organized on December 20 has accelerated the overall invitations count to 1,022.
Manitoba PNP has established some eligibility criteria to get provincial nomination and apply for to its Express Entry pathway.
Also, the candidates with close relations to Manitoba or any previous education or employment in the province, are also taken into consideration. Candidate with highest ranks in the express entry pool are then invited to apply for nomination through regular draws. A provincial nomination can earn 600 additional points towards Express Entry ranking score.
