Changes in Australia Immigration Points System applicable from 1st july 2018
Australia Government has made changes in Immigration points system which is to be applicable from 1st July 2018. The Immigration points system plays an important role in General Skilled Migration visa program. Previously, the minimum marks or cut-off of Immigration points system was 60 points. Applicants can apply with 60 points requirements till 30th June 2018. However, from 1st July 2018, the applicants will have to score 65 points to be eligible to enter in General Skilled Migration Visa program.
Visa categories that will be going through the change:-
- Skilled Independent Visa Subclass 189
- State Sponsored Visas subclass 190
- Skilled Regional Provisional Visa Subclass 489
Skilled Independent visa, State Sponsored visa and Skilled Regional (Provisional) Visa are the points-based visas. From 1st July 2018, candidates will have to get minimum 65 points on Australian Immigration points system that include factors like Age, qualification, work experience, English language ability, etc to be eligible.
