British Columbia extends Tech Pilot to June 2020

On June 3, the province’s immigrant nominee program has announced that British Columbia Tech Pilot is going to stay till June 2020. This program was introduced in the year 2017; the Tech Pilot program is a fast-tracked pathway to get Canadian permanent residency for overseas skilled workers.  The invitations to candidates in the Skilled Workers and International Graduates categories draws takes place weekly under the BC PNP’s Skills Immigration and Express Entry B.C. streams.

You need to have a B.C. job offer in the occupations that are in-demand in Pilot’s occupations for at least one year and has a total of minimum 120 days left at the time of application. Express Entry candidates get extra 600 points to their overall ranking score if they have received a provincial nomination from British Columbia.
