The Australia and Peru Work Holiday Arrangement came into effect on the 1st of October, 2017. With this Scheme, the citizens of both the countries are eligible to apply for the Work and Holiday Visa of the other country. Presently, Australia has tied up with the other 20 countries across the world for the Work and Holiday Visa program. Every year, 100 of applicants can apply for this visa program as Australia and Peru have signed a quota of allowing 100 visa applications per year.
Australia’s Work and Holiday Visa (subclass 462 and Subclass 417) allow the young people to visit and work in Australia simultaneously for the span of three, six or nine months. The main purpose of this scheme is to strengthen the cultural and bilateral ties between Australia and the other countries listed in the eligible countries list to apply for Work and Holiday Visa. You also get the opportunity to study in Australia for the span of four months.
The applicant should be more than 18 years of age but should not exceed 31 years. The candidate should be the citizen or holder of the valid passport of one of the eligible countries. You must have sufficient funds to support your stay while residing in Australia. No dependent child can accompany the applicant during his/her visit to Australia.
With the work Holiday Visa, you get the chance of working with an employer for the span of six months and you can even look for the studies for the maximum of four months.
