Australia Immigration Department has introduced some changes in the popular visa programs -Working Holiday Visa subclass 417 and Work and Holiday Visa Subclass 462.  There is an addition of more countries in the ‘eligible list countries’ and also, there is a little deduction in the process of documentation requirements.  Here, go through the changes that have taken place in both the visa programs:

Interesting candidates who want to apply for this visa must have at least two years of undergraduate university studies, a letter for support from their Government and proof of Functional English.

b) Increase in the upper limit of age

The upper age limit of French passport holder has increased to 35 and now they can apply for subclass 417 visa before they turn 35. Previously, Canada and Ireland passport holders were there in the list of accepted countries with a higher age cut-off.

c) Introduction of Third Year Visa

Now, applicants of the list of accepted countries can apply for a third-year visa provided a requirement of having 6 months specific regional work at the time of holding either a second subclass 417 visa or subclass 462 visa.

d) Reduction in paperwork

Applicants from countries like Austria, Portugal, and Spain need not submit a letter from their Government supporting their Subclass 462 visa application anymore. On the other hand, applicants from countries like Indonesia, Singapore, Thailand, Turkey, and Vietnam have to do internet lodgment.
