Australia introduced Global talent Independent program to target International highly-skilled workers

The Australian Government has introduced new immigration program to attract highly and talented skilled workers from Overseas. David Coleman, the Minister for Immigration, Migration Services, Citizenship and Multicultural Affairs launched the program on November 4, 2019. This new program proffers priority-based pathway for highly and skilled International workers to work and live permanently in Australia.

Global talent Independent Program

The Australia Government discussed and assured in 2018 that business in Australia would have access to the best and talented individuals from across the globe to boost its economy. Therefore, to meet this commitment, the government is ready with its new initiative and has allocated up to 5,000 permanent places for Global talent for the migration program year 2019-20.

Global talent Program aims at inviting skilled and talented people who are escalating in their field and can provide vision for businesses, entrepreneurs and individuals to share inventive ideas, skills and experience. This program is going to be useful for transferring skills, to boost innovation, and creating job opportunities in the kangaroo land.

Apply for Permanent Residency through Global Talent Program

The Global talent Program is a new pathway to gain permanent residency in Australia for successful candidates who want to live and work in any part of Australia.  Applicants get customized services related to the process. Sectors which are targeted under Global talent Program

Sectors which are targeted by the Australia Government under the GTP are AgTech, Space and Advanced Manufacturing, FinTech, Energy and Mining Technology, MedTech, Cyber Security, and Quantum information, Advanced Digital, Data Science and ICT.  The applicants who are interested to apply through this program need to have referral either from a Global talent Officer or an organization or an individual with a national reputation in the same field as the candidate.
