Finally, a happy news for the skilled workers who want to immigrate to ACT as the ACT state nomination program is all set to open on the 29th November 2018. This program is the pathway to get PR in the state by applying for Skilled Nominated Visa Subclass 190. The purpose to introduce state program is to fill the skill shortage going on in the state.
In June 2018, this program was suspended partially and this time it will reopen with new merit-based assessment. Therefore, the candidates who received a nomination that time may get little advantage over the others as per the new merit-based system.
State Visa Subclass 190 helps the applicants to get PR. With the aim to fill the shortage gap by inviting the skilled and talented skilled professionals for the ACT state. Australia Capital Territory has received the 800 nominations for the year 2018-19 from the DHA (Department of Home Affairs), which plans the number of allocations for every Australia State.
