Yukon Immigration Occupation List 2018

Yukon Immigration Occupation List 2017-18 has a list of all the eligible occupations in Yukon for applicants who wish to immigrate to the state of Yukon. They can see if their job profile is present in the occupation list or not. Further the applicants need to score 67 points out of 100 points on the Yukon Immigration points calculator 2018 for being eligible to apply to the Expression of Interest under the Yukon provincial nominee program for being able to immigrate to Canada and getting a Canadian Permanent Residency permit.

Yukon employers sponsor international skilled workers for Canadian permanent residence. Sponsored applicants must be working in a National Occupational Classification (NOC) Skill Level 0, A, or B occupation under the skilled worker stream and (NOC) Skill Level C, D under Critical Impact Worker stream.

The Yukon Immigration Occupation List 2018 consists of (NOC) Skill Level 0, A, B, C and D occupations.

Under this stream, Yukon employers may nominate foreign nationals working in skilled occupations for Canadian permanent residence.

Minimum Eligibility Requirements

Individuals must meet the following requirements:

  1. Possess education and work experience that satisfy the requirements of the job as per the criteria specified in the National Occupational Classification (NOC);
    • NOTE: The minimum acceptable level of education is a high school diploma.
  2. Demonstrate at least one year of related work experience for the position being filled. This work experience may be gained outside Yukon;
  3. If in Canada at the time of application, maintain a valid work permit throughout the YNP application and assessment process; and
  4. If in Canada on a study permit, provide proof of:
    • One year of study for a certificate program,
    • Two years of study for a diploma or Bachelor degree program, or
    • Completion of at least level eight of the English as a Second Language (ESL) program for ESL students at Yukon College.

Once the candidate has scored 67 points on the points grid the candidate also needs to apply to the Yukon Express Entry where they’ll have to submit their profiles to the Express entry system and their profiles will then be picked up by their selected province for immigration.
